Be Part of the Team

As a professional body of leadership, WEA is prioritizing the health and safety of our conference attendees. We will make every effort to provide a safe environment for conference attendees.

As an outdoor leader, we need your help. Please do your part by taking personal responsibility around your health.  Please consider the following:

    • Be a leader in wearing your face covering in other indoor places throughout the city (e.g., restaurants, bars, etc).
    • Use hand-sanitizing stations as available and wash your hands frequently.
    • Get fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You can find local no-cost vaccination sites here.
    • Even if you are fully vaccinated, you can still carry COVID-19. We recommend a negative COVID-19 test result prior to arrival regardless of vaccination status. Please get tested for COVID-19 if you exhibit symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. You can find local no-cost testing sites here.
    • If you are feeling unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend the conference.
    • We are also implementing a colored lanyards system for our badges that will allow attendees to choose their level of comfort with interactions:
            • Red – Please keep 6 feet away with masks on.
            • Yellow – I'm okay with elbows and fist bumps and short close contact sessions.
            • Green – ‘Come in for the hug.
